Which CE directive applies to magnetic window cleaners?

Our hand-held magnetic window cleaners fall under the General Product Safety Regulation (EU 2023/988) and RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. Non-electrical units do not require Machinery or Low-Voltage Directive scope.
Is CE certification per product model or per factory?

CE is per product family. Fonoran maintains separate CE technical files and DoCs for FN-Classic 28, FN-Hydra 26, and FN-Ultra 35. Each PO can reference the matching DoC by model.
Do you provide CE / RoHS documents in German, Dutch, or French?

Yes. Standard DoCs are issued in English, with German, Dutch, French, and Spanish translations on file. We supply the language version your customer's notified body requests.
Is RoHS testing included at no extra cost?

Yes. Standard RoHS substance scan (Pb / Cd / Hg / Cr6+ / PBB / PBDE / phthalates) is included with every batch test report. Extended SVHC list available on request.
Can you arrange a 3rd-party factory audit (BSCI / Sedex / SGS)?

Yes. We host buyer-sponsored or 3rd-party audits with 2-3 weeks notice. BSCI and Sedex SMETA reports from 2024 are on file and available under standard NDA.
What's the difference between CE and CCC marking?

CE is the EU conformity mark required to enter the EEA. CCC (China Compulsory Certification) is China's domestic mark — not relevant for export. Fonoran ships export-only product with CE; CCC is available on request for domestic Chinese channels.
